Question 148698: Mike has 19 coins (Nickels, Dimes and quarters) in his piggy bank with a total value of $2.35. There are 2 more dimes than nickels. How many of each type of coins does mike have?
I know I have to make 3 equations
N + D + Q= 2.35
D= N +2 ( I think)
Not sure on the third one.

A small firm produces both AM and AM/FM ca radios. The AM radios take 15 hours to produce, and the AM/FM radios take 20 hours to produce. The Number of production hours is limited to 300 hours per week. The plant's capacity is limited to a total of 18 radios per week, and existing orders require that at least 4 AM radios and at least 3 AM/FM radios be produced per week. Write a system of inequalities representing this situation. In this case let x= AM Radios and y= AM/FM radios.
Would it be 15x + 20y (less than or equal to) 300 ???

Question 149706: I tried to find an equation with the the unknown amount of coins but could not find one. I believe I need 3 seperate equations but I am not sure.

.05N+2 + .10D*2
(Not sure if this one is right. don't know the third one but I am pretty sure there is one Please help)
