Multiply the two -2 exponents and get a +4 exponent



Divide top and bottom by 2



Subtract exponents of x getting  in the bottom



Give the 4 an exponent of 1:



Multiply the inner exponents 1 and 3 by the outer exponent 4
and  = 1
