To figure out how much you would save each year if you smoked one pack per day and each pack is 5.25, you would multiply 5.25 by 365, since there are 365 days each year and you are spending 5.25 per day on cigarettes:

5.25 x 365 = 1916.25

So, you would save $1916.25 in a year if you quit smoking.
