A and B together have $35. If A gave B $14, he would then have $5
less than B. How much does each have at present?
--------
Equations:
A + B = 35
A-14 = B+14-5
------
Modify:
A + B = 35
A - B = 23
----------------
2A = 58
A = $29 (amt. A has)
B = 35-29 = $6 (amt. B has)
---------------
