If a construction company purchased a machine in 2010, for the value of
USD 150 000. And we know also that the machine has a constant annual depreciation
of USD 5500. Which is the value of the parameter m (slope)

Hi,

(1, 9500)

(0, 15000)   m = (9500-15000)/1 = -5500

Value = -5500x + 15000 , where x is the number of years from 2010.
