annual profit in thousands of dollars is given by the function, P(x)= sqrt x-5+3000, where x is the number of items sold in thousands, x.5. will this profit function have a maximum, if so what is it?
---
P(x) = sqrt(x-5)+3000
---
sqrt(x) has no maximum.
So sqrt(x-5) has no maximum
And raising all the points 3000 still provides jo maximum.
