Question 455770: 45= 50p + 35 (1-p)
_______________
1.015
The 45= isnt divided by the 1.015 only everything to the right.. wasnt able to show it correctly when typing it up

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
45= [50p + 35 (1-p)]/ 1.015
-----
Multiply both sides by 1.015 to get:
45.675 = 50p + 35 - 35p
---
10.675 = 15p
----
p = 0.711667..
