Question 436681: Could someone please show me how to solve this problem? Bayside insurance offers two health plans. Under plan A, Giselle would have to pay the first $150 of her medical bills plus 30%. Under plan B, Giselle would pay the first $210 but only 20% if the rest. For what amount will plan B save Giselle money? Assume she has over $210 in bills.
Answer by jorel1380(3719)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
150+.30x>210+.20x
.10x>60
x>60/.10
x>600
If Giselle has bills greater than $600, plan B will save her money.
