Amount of increase: 13000-10000= $3000
Original cost: $10000
.
Percent increase= 3000/10000 * 100
Percent increase= 3/10 * 100
Percent increase= 3 * 10
Percent increase= 30%

13000/10000=1.30 ===> 130%
original price 10000=> 100%
so that 130-100===> 30% increase
