Question 344822: Y=100+.8(y-40)+38+75+25-.05(y-40)
How do I figure out what the value of y is?
Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
IF Y is not the same as y then:
Y=100+.8(y-40)+38+75+25-.05(y-40)
Y=100+.8y-32+38+75+25-.05y+2
Y=.75y+208
.75y=Y-208 ans.
---------------------------------
IF Y=y then:
Y-.75Y=208
.25Y=208
Y=208/.25
Y=832 ans.
