Question 324556: Multiplying rational expression. I just need to know if this is right and if not the right way to do it.
3÷a²+a•2a+2÷6 = 3÷a(a+1)• 2(a+1)÷2•3 =a
Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I just need to know if this is right and if not the right way to do it.
[3÷(a²+a)]•[(2a+2)÷6]
-----
= [3÷(a(a+1))• [(2(a+1))÷(2•3)]
-----
Cancel factors that are common to
a numerator and a denominator, such
as 3,2, and (a+1), to get:
------
= 1/a
