let the three consequitive numbers be x, x+2 , x+4
4times the first number decreased by 28
=4x-28
this is equal to sum of second two numbers
x+2 and x+4
4x-28=x+4 +x+2
4x-28=2x+6
4x-2x= 28+6
2x=34
x=17
So the numbers are 17,19,21
