A product can be sold at a price of p dollars, p=-0.04x+2000.
And x represents the number of units sold.
Find an expression for the revenue R(x)
:
Rev = units sold (x) * price (p)
:
p = -0.04x+2000
x = units sold
:
therefore
R(x) = x*(-0.04x+2000)
R(x) = -0.04x^2 + 2000x
