Question 262811: Cashier makes change for $10.00. Customer is given nickles dimes and quarters he has 9 more dimes than nickles and 21 more quarters than dimes. How many of each is given?
I know the answer is 4 nickles, 13 dimes and 34 Quarters. But I worked on this for an hour and came up with the answers by breaking it down. I can not figure out what the formula should be.
Thank You
