The shirt is on10% discount
You pay 90 when the original price is 100
when you pay 412.50 the original price is
(412.50/90 )*100 =458.33
the original price of the shirt is 458.33
2. The solar installation costs R250000 VAT inclusive. Calculate the VAT exclusive price of the solar installation.
Assume XAT of 15%
VAT Incusive price = R250000
You pay 115 if price is 100
If you pay 250000 then Vat exclusive price will be
250000*100/115 = 217391.30
The VAT exclusive price of the solar installation is approximately R217,391.30.
