A premium ticket for a football match was one and a half times the price of a standard ticket.
let the price of standard ticket be x
premium ticket for a football match will cost 1.5x
cost for 4 standard tickets = 4x
and 2 premium tickets 2*(1.5x) =3x

Total cost =€322
4x+3x=322 equation
7x = 322
x= 46
cost of a standard ticket = 46 euro

Solve the equation to find the cost of a standard ticket.
let a premium ticket be and a standard ticket
if a premium ticket was one and a half times the price of a standard ticket, we have

......eq.1

If the total cost for standard and premium tickets was €, we have
......eq.2
substitute from eq.1

=> the cost of a standard ticket

go to eq.1, substitute
......eq.1

=> the cost of a premium ticket

check:
......eq.2

Notice how the tickets' prices are chosen with whole valued coefficients which could make calculations easier.
TYPE       PRICE         QTY.        COST
Premium    3Q             2          3Q*2
Standard   2Q             4          2Q*4
SUM                                  322

Form the equation as ,
which easily becomes

From this, Standard Ticket,
and Premium Ticket, euros

As a person seeking help, my advice to you would be to IGNORE, at all costs, what NONSENSE/GIBBERISH
JOSGARITHMETIC is trying to "sell" you. I'm convinced that his main purpose, at this forum, is to confuse
the HELL out of everybody including himself. What he wrote absolutely makes NO SENSE, at all, to me.

He mentions Q! What the HELL is Q, and what the HELL is 14Q = 322 supposed to be?

Enough of the TORTURE!! Read on if you're as disgusted as I am.

Let the price of a standard ticket be S
Then price of a premium ticket = , or 1.5S
As 4 standard and 2 premium tickets cost €322, we get: 4S + 2(1.5)S = 322 <=== Requested equation
                                                            4S + 3S = 322
                                                                 7S = 322
                             Cost of a standard ticket, or = €46

That's IT! NOTHING more, NOTHING less!!
