(a) n(AC ∩ B ∩ C)
(b) n(A ∩ BC ∩ CC)

when you use CC or BC without explanations, it becomes unclear.

If the last "C" means "complement", then it should be written differently (or, at least, explained).

I don't want to make hypotheses about the meaning of your writing - it is not my duty at this forum.
