The data are known to have a strong, positive, gently-curved pattern with no outliers.

m is the slope
b is the y-intercept.
using the linear regression calculator at http://www.alcula.com/calculators/statistics/linear-regression/#gsc.tab=0, i get:
y=142.07216104119 * x - 295.7303368135
the slope is 142.0721610119.
round to 2 decimal places to get:
y = 142.07 * x - 295.73
when x = 32, y = 142.07 * 32 - 295.73 = 4250.51
it's not exactly 4459, but it's close.
