A sales man gets acommission of 2.4% on sales upto shs. 150,000.
He gets an additional commission of 1.5% on sales above this.
Calculate the commission he gets on sales worth kshs. 300,000
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The salesman gets 2.4% comission on sales up to first  shs 150,000.
This comission is  0.024 * sha 150000 = shs 3600.
He then gets an additional comission of 1.5% on sales above it, which sales are another shs 150,000.
So, the additional comission is  0.015 * shs 150000 = shs 2250.
Finally, we add these two comission amounts  khs 3600 and khs 2250 to get the  ANSWER  of khs 5850.
