the area of a rhombus is 140 m^2 given that one of its diagonals is 16 cm long. Calculate the perimeter of the rhombus
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
            In your post,  the area measure is given in m^2,  while the length measure is in cm.
            I do not believe that one Math problem may have such a mixture of units, so I read 140 m^2 as 140 cm^2.
Two diagonals of a rhombus bisect eqch other, are perpendicular and divide the rhombus
in four congruent right angled triangle.
The area of each of these four triangles is   = 35 cm^2.
One leg of each of these triangles is 8 cm.
Hence, from the formula for the area of a right angled triangle, the other leg is   =  = 8.75 cm.
Then each side of the rhombus is   =  = 11.673 cm (rounded).
So the perimeter of the rhombus is   = 46.69 cm.    ANSWER
Solved.
