Valentina, Luke, Sally, Han and Mae.
2 boys and 3 girls.  

They can be successfully placed in 2 basic ways, GGGBB or BBGGG

The girls can be arranged 3!=6 ways and the boys 2!=2 ways.

That's 2*6*2 = 24 ways out of 5!=120 ways to arrange the 5 every
possible way.

Answer 24/120 = 1/5.
