My two dogs were running on the beach when I called them back.
The faster dog was 100m away and the slower dog was 70m away.
The faster dog runs twice as fast as the slower dog.
How far away was the second dog when the first dog reached me?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Let "u" be the speed of the slower dog, in meters per second.
Then the speed of the faster dog is 2u m/s, according to the problem's description.
The time for the faster dog to reach me is   seconds =  seconds.
During this time, the slower dog will cover   = 50 meters,
so the slower dog will be in 70-50 = 20 meters from me.    ANSWER
