Question 1165310: let S be the right triangle with sides of length 3,4, and 5 and let T be the right triangle with sides of length 6,7,and 10. suppose theta is the angle opposite the side of length 4 in S and p is the angle opposite the side of length 8 in T. Draw both of these triangles and compute sin of theta and sin of p. What do you notice? Why do you think this is true? Explain.

hypotenuse is 5 in the first triangle and 10 in the second.
sin theta=4/5=0.8, and the angle is 53.1 deg
T is 6-8-10 apparently, and not 6-7-10
The sin of p is 8/10=0.8.
These are both similar triangles with one twice as big as the other in all sides with similar angles.
There are multiples of right triangles.
