Chocolate:
She sold 3/4 of what she started with, so what she had left was 1/4 of what she started with.
She finished with 20 scoops of chocolate.
20 = 1/4 of what she started with means she started with 80 scoops of chocolate.
Vanilla:
She sold 1/2 of what she started with, so what she had left was 1/2 of what she started with.
She finished with 30 scoops of vanilla.
30 = 1/2 of what she started with means she started with 60 scoops of vanilla.
