GDP growth = (GDP in current period - GDP in the previous period) / GDP in the previous period * 100
But if i am given this data
GDP in the previous period = 10

Answer by Theo(13342)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
what you are given is this:
gdp in the previous period = 10
gdp growth = 5
if that is pure growth, then gdp in the current period is equal to 10 + 5 = 15.
if gdp growth = 5%, then gdp in current period = 10 + .05 * 10 = 10.5.
