Let x = for each shirt;

    y = for each pair of slacks,  and

    z = for each sport coat.


Then from the condition you have this set of 3 equations in 3 unknowns


    2x + 2y + 0z = 11.96          (1)

    6x + 3y + 2z = 35.39          (2)

    5x + 0y + 2z = 20.43.         (3)



It can be solved using Substitution, or Elimination, or determinants (the Cramer's rule).
