The experiment starts with 100 flies, and after 2 days there are 300 flies. How many flies will there be after 10 days and how long did it take for the fly population to double?

The number of fruit flies TRIPLES every 2 days.


10 days are 5 times by 2 days, so the number of fruit flies will grow in  = 243 times.


The problem is formulated in so unfortunate way, that I can not determine for myself, starting from which time moment you count these 10 days.
