Question 1122896: An experiment has sample space S={a,b,c,d}.
Suppose Pr({a,c,d})=0.85 and Pr({b,c})=0.44.
What is Pr({c})?

What is Pr({a,d})?

Enter each answer as a whole number or decimal.

The experiment has four mutually exclusive outcomes. So....

first question: what is Pr({c})?

Pr({c}) = Pr({b,c}) - Pr({b}); Pr({b}) = 1 - Pr({a,c,d})

second question: what is Pr({a,d)})?

Pr({a,d}) = Pr({a,c,d}) - Pr({c})

You can do the arithmetic.
