Question 109978: Hi, this is my first time using this site so sorry if my question is directed towards the wrong person but I am hoping I can be helped!!
I must solve this problem by factoring:
75xsqaured-60x%2B12=0
After working the problem out I came to the conclusion that x=-4 x=-4.
If this is wrong could you please explain to me why, thank you!

first, divide by 3 ... 25x^2-20x+4=0

factoring gives (5x-2)(5x-2)=0 ... 5x-2=0, so x does not equal -4
