Question 1098528: What is the P(1,4,1) on three consecutive rolls of a number cube?
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
It is 1/216, because they are independent of each other, and the probability of any given number is 1/6.
(1/6)^3=1/216
If it were two 1s and 1 4, that would be different, for it could be 1,1,4 or 4,1,1.
