Question 1097011: F(x) =x^2-12x+60
Find the maximum or minimum value for the quadratic function

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2-12x+60
vertex x value is -b/2a, b is -12, a is 1
vertex is where x=6
When x=6, f(x)=36-72+60=24
(6, 24) is the vertex.
Positive x^2, so that is a minimum.
