y+2=-7/4(x-1)

What do you want with it? This looks like equation for a line, in point slope form, and would need to be written better, using parentheses:

y+2=-(7/4)(x-1)
which renders to .

Either you want maybe put into Ax+By=C form or into y=mx+b form.
