Question 1091045: Iam a 3-digit number.My hundreds digit is one more than my ones digit,and my tens digit is twice my hundreds digit.What numbers can I be?

Answer by htmentor(1343)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Let o = the ones digit
Then the hundreds digit is o + 1 and the tens digit is 2(o + 1)
Thus the number can be expressed as:
o + 1 2(o + 1) o
Since no digit can be greater than 9, we can write the following inequality:
2(o + 1) < 10 -> o + 1 < 5 -> o < 4
Thus o can take the values 0, 1, 2, 3 which gives the following possible numbers:
120
241
362
483
