Question 1068994: If the population of a particular country is growing at 1.6 % compounded continuously, how long will it take the population to quadruple?
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A=Ao*exp^(0.016)*t; A=4Ao, because quadrupling
4=exp(0.016 t)
ln of both sides
ln4=0.016 t
t=ln 4/0.016 =86.64 years
