How many desks of each kind were there?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Had every desk be the single desk, it would be only 35 seats in the class.
But in reality, the seating capacity is 49.
It is because 49-35 = 14 seats belong to double desks.
Answer.  There are 14 double desks and 35-14 = 21 single desks.
Solved without using equations.
