Question 1029538: The function f(x)=-2x(x-1)(x-2)(x+2)
A)has 4 zeros
B)has a maximum
C)as x infinit as f(x) -infinity
D)all of the above

We can see by inspection that
f(x)=-2x(x-1)(x-2)(x+2)
has four zeroes, since setting it equal to zero gives four solutions.
Look at the leading term (when you multiply it out)...it is -2x^4...
When x goes to infinity, f(x) goes to negative infinity...
So we have choices A and C...turns out it has a maximum too, so
Choice D) all of the above.
