Let x,y be the two numbers.
x/y=10/4=5/2
x/y=5/2 =>x=5y/2----(1)
If 5 is added to each number, the ratio becomes 7:5
(x+5)/(y+5)=7/5----(2)
substituting (1) in (2)
we get
y=20/11 , x=50/11
