A store gets a bucket of eggs for $16.20 and sells a dozen eggs for $3.50. If there are 450 eggs in the bucket, by what percent has the store increased the price per dozen eggs?
I have no clue what to do, and I don't get the answer provided.

The store pays $16.20 per 37.5 dozen eggs.(450 eggs=37.5 dozen)
The store pays ($16.20/37.5 doz)=$0.432/doz
The store charges ($3.50-0.432) $3.068 more per dozen than they paid.
($3.068/$0.432)(100%)=710%

Original cost per dozen:: 16.20/37.5 = $0.432 or 43.2 cents per dozen

Increased cost per dozen when sold:: 3.50-0.432 = $3.068

Ans: Percent increase of a dozen eggs:: $3.068/$0.432 = 7.10185 = 710.185%
