complement of x= 90-x
supplement of x=180-x
The sum of x+90-x+180-x=-x+270
average of those is (-x/3)+90
That equals 80
-(x/3)=-10
x=30
complement of x=60 ANSWER
supplement of x=150
Average of the 3 is (240/3)=80
B

The average of the measures of angle X, it's complementary angle, and it's supplementary angle is 80 degrees.
Find x
= 80
multiply both sides by 3
x + (90-x) + (180-x) = 240
Combine like terms
x - x - x + 90 + 180 = 240
-x + 270 = 240
270 - 240 = x
30 = x
x = 30 degrees
:
What is the measure of the complement of angle X?
90 - 30 = 60 degrees
