Question 1000557: 2^x - 8 = 3x+5

Answer by josgarithmetic(39618) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Not sure any more exactly how to do this on the calculator, but make one member a function, make the other member another function, and choose to view a table or a graph of the two functions at the same time. Try TRACE (not sure) to find where the two functions meet.
Example, Y1=2^x-8, and Y2=3x+5.
You will need to pick the right window settings to see everything you need for the graph, and also choose the right zoom level.
