Question 348801: I am doing a multi-step equation with variables on both sides. I tried as far as I could but am not sure if my next step will be correct. Here is the problem and my steps until I got stuck: 7-3r=r-4(2+r) 7-3r=r-8+4r Thank you very much. As you can tell I used the distributive property but am not sure what to do now. One thing I know for certain is that my teacher said that our solution must be found by getting rid of the lowest valued variable first or else it is wrong, if that helps your solution. Thank you! Question 349003: Perform the indicated operations and simplify. 2/x^2-4 subtracted by 1/x^2-3x+2 So first I feind the lowest common factor which is (x^2-4)(x^2-3x+2). Then I put 2/x^2-4 times x^2-3x+2/x^2-3x+2 subtracted by 1/x^2-3x+2 times x^2-4/x^2-4 ? Then what do I do? Click here to see answer by mananth(12270)
