Solve the following system by elimination, substitution, or Cramer's rule
4x+2y =-28
6x+3y = -18
-----
Modify::
2x + y = -14
2x + y = -6
-----
Subtract to get:
0 = 8
That is a contradiction.
Ans: No solution

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4x+2y = -28 --> 2y + y = -14
6x+3y = -18 --> 2x + y = -6
---------------
Inconsistent, no solution.
