HERE I WOULD CONVERT THE FRACTIONS TO DECIMALS THUS:
.25X+2=.75X
2=.75X-.25X
2=.5X NOW DIVIDE BITH SIDES BY .5
.5X/.5=2/.5
X=4 ANSWER.
PROOF
.25*4+2=.75*4
1+2=3
3=3
