Insufficient information, but your reasoning is flawed.
What if one or more variables are negative?
If all are negative, both are positive
What if they are between -1 and 1? (The sum is larger than the product if all are between 0 and 1, product larger if all between -1 and 0)
What about combinations of fractions, positive and negative?
There really not enough information as given to make any assumption.
