You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Use the expression r+0.12m to calculate the cost of renting a car. The basic rate is r. The miles driven is m.Determine the cost for the following.
The basic rate is $15.95.The car driven is 150 miles.
--------------
Cost = r + 0.12m
--------------
That equation means they are going to charge you $15.95 for
renting the car plus 12 cents for each mile you drive.
---------------
If you drive 150 miles the cost will get :
Cost = 15.95 + 0.12(150)
Cost = 15.95 + 18.00 = @33.95
