A cosmetics company sells 12,800 bottles of lotion a month at a selling price of $6.50. A marketing survey indicates that for each $0.25 decrease in selling price, the monthly sales will increase by 900. Determine an equation relating the selling price, p and the number x of bottles sold.

the number of bottles sold is 12,800 plus an additional 900 for each .25 decrease from the 6.50 price
x=12,800+(((6.50-p)/.25)900)
