Question 965798: solve for x,y and z
1. x+y-2z=5
2. x+z=4
3. y-z=6

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
solve for x,y and z
x+y-2z=5
x+z=4 --> x = 4-z
y-z=6 --> y = z+6
-----------
x+y-2z=5
sub for x & y
4-z + z+6 - 2z = 5
-2z + 10 = 5
z = 5/2
-----
x = 3/2
y = 17/2
