Answer by rothauserc(4718)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
7n+6 = 4n-9
subtract 4n from both sides of =
3n +6 = -9
subtract 6 from both sides of =
3n = -15
divide 3 on both sides of =
n = -5
check the answer
7*(-5) +6 = 4*(-5) -9
-35 +6 = -20 -9
-29 = -29
our answer, n = -5, checks :-)
