Question 856559: How would I simplify (x•x + 6x -27) divided by 3x•x +27 over x+5?
Answer by rothauserc(4718) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x^2 +6x -27) / (3x^2+27) / (x+5)
factor numerator and denominator
(x+9)(x-3) / 3(x^2+9) / (x+5)
now invert denominator
(x+9)(x-3)(x+5) / 3(x^2+9)
