solve using the elimination method.
3r - 7s =-32
7r + 3s = 22
multiply the 1st equation by 3, and the 2nd equation by 7, resulting in:
9r - 21s = -96
49r + 21s = 154
-------------------Adding eliminates s, find r
58r + 0 = 58
r = 58/58
r = 1
Find s using the 2nd original equation, replace r with 1
7 + 3s = 22
3s = 22-7
3s = 15
s = 15/3
s = 5
Check solutions in the original 1st equation
3(1) - 7(5) =
3 - 35 = -32
